One Tree, One Life is Mattered is a non-profit organization whose mission to honour the Life of those men and women of colour who have been destroyed by deeply racist policies, practices and attitudes from law enforcement officials.

Trees are a universal and fundamental archetype of Life throughout centuries, religions and philosophical traditions. They are sacred forces that are nurtured in many cultures, conserved and worthy of respect and reverence.

The goal of this organization is to plan a tree to honour the memory of each man and woman of colour who deserved to be treated with respect but whose lives have been taken away from the same people that were supposed to protect them.
